Front Office Assistant – Priority Care Center

Priority Care Center is looking for a full time Front Office Assistant to join our care team. The front office assistant provides front line assistance to our patients.

We are seeking a motivated, friendly responsible person who is able to work in a dynamic, fast paced work environment. This position provides great exposure to all areas of the healthcare field. Punctuality and willingness to learn is a must.

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience as a front office assistant in a health care setting or physician office setting preferred
Understanding of the local health care system
Excellent communication, customer service and multi-tasking skills
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization
Experience working in EMR systems preferred, eCW a plus
Experience with MS Office suite

This is a full time M-F 8am-5pm position.
Fully benefited position.  Salary range $14.00 – $19.00 per hour

 

RN Care Coordinator/Medical Management

Excellent opportunity for a versatile, team-oriented RN who is ambitious and excited about transforming healthcare delivery, and who takes a holistic approach to providing and facilitating care for our clients.
Utilize your nursing knowledge and experience to promote quality healthcare by providing Care Coordination to clients with chronic conditions and/or complex health needs , creating effective care plans through collaboration with our  interdisciplinary team including the Medical Director, MD, Nurse Practitioner, RN Diabetes Educator, Behavioral Therapist and Wellness Coaches.

This position also includes Medical Management of our members by reviewing authorization requests for services and ensuring that they meet criteria for medical necessity through review of supporting medical documentation, use of appropriate guidelines and evidence based practices to support decision making. Computer literacy and EMR experience are a must, as much of the required work will be computer-based.

Nurse Practitioner

The Priority Care Center is expanding the services currently being offered and is looking for the right individual to fill this role. In the fall of 2018 health center services will be offered on the campus of a local middle school in addition to the services currently being provided at the main Priority Care Center location and at the College of the Redwoods Student Health Center. This part time position will provide clinical services, overall support, and care coordination for students at a local middle school and at College of the Redwoods. IT Assistant Director

The Humboldt IPA and The North Coast Health Improvement and Information Network are looking for an experienced, team-oriented individual to join our team as the IT Assistant Director. This position will work closely with the IT Director to support the day to day operations of the department as well as working with staff and our customers to promote programs and services of the organizations. The right individual will possess a strong understanding of health IT and HIE as well as having excellent interpersonal skills.
