Priority Care Center is looking for a full time Medical Assistant to join our care team. This position is an important part of our integrated care team that works collaboratively with diverse patient populations to engage them in their health and wellbeing. This position requires someone with a caring personality that seeks to assist patients with care coordination needs, help close gaps in care and support PCC new physician, advance practice and behavioral health providers, nurses and wellness coaches.
We are seeking a motivated, friendly, responsible person who is able to work in a dynamic, fast paced work environment. This position provides great exposure to all areas of the healthcare field. Punctuality and willingness to learn is a must.
Experience as a medical assistant in a physician office preferred
MA certification preferred
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization
Experience working in EMR systems preferred, eCW a plus
Experience with MS Office suite
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
This is a full time (M-F 8am-5pm), benefited position. Wage range $16.00 – $22.00 per hour DOE

The Priority Care Center is expanding the services currently being offered and is looking for the right individual to fill this role. In the fall of 2018 health center services will be offered on the campus of a local middle school in addition to the services currently being provided at the main Priority Care Center location and at the College of the Redwoods Student Health Center. This part time position will provide clinical services, overall support, and care coordination for students at a local middle school and at College of the Redwoods. IT Assistant Director
The Humboldt IPA and The North Coast Health Improvement and Information Network are looking for an experienced, team-orientated individual to join our team as the IT Assistant Director. This position will work closely with the IT Director to support the day to day operations of the department as well as working with staff and our customers to promote programs and services of the organizations.
