DIABETES EDUCATION

This service is offered at the Priority Care Center, 2316 Harrison Avenue, Eureka.

Diabetes Education teaches people what they need to know to stay healthy while living with diabetes. Derived from the core concepts of the Humboldt Diabetes Project, the program was formed to provide the community with quality patient education.

Diabetes Education teaches patients how to self-manage their diabetes.

The program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education.*
